UPDATE: EU Juncker: G7 meeting, the level of satisfaction with the current foreign exchange

  Washington (Dow Jones) - Euro Group President Jacques Saturday said that the Group of Seven were generally satisfied with the current world currency, to see the rate in line with economic fundamentals.

"The overall impression is that there are some minor exceptions, the currency is now at a level that reflects economic fundamentals better than the first few months ... the situation," Juncker told reporters the day before the Group of Seven finance ministers meeting in Washington.

Although Juncker said that the foreign exchange market is not a problem, it was suggested that the Group of Seven in the official meeting, he talked about the parties, it is generally happy with the current level.

In a statement issued at the end of last Friday's meeting, G7 finance ministers and central bank governors welcomed China's commitment to its exchange rate system more flexible.

Exporters around the world have long complained that China's unfair trade advantage to maintain the low level of the RMB exchange rate.
